NOTE: All classes listed are covered by Fair Share and Union Dues provisions except those preceded by an asterisk. Asterisks indicate classes covered under a contractual Fair Share provision that is not yet in effect. Presently, no automatic Fair Share deduction is required. Union Dues deduction is by voluntary authorization only.
If a change in classification results in an employee being moved from a class that requires the deduction of a Fair Share fee to one where no such deduction is required, the University will automatically stop the Fair Share deduction. However, it is the employee's responsibility to notify the Benefits Center if he/she wishes to change his/her status relative to the payment of union dues which he/she voluntarily authorized.
