Civil Service Employment Opportunities

ANNOUNCEMENT

The University of Illinois has transitioned to a new applicant tracking system called HireTouch, which provides a more streamlined, user-friendly interface for completing Civil Service applications. If you have previously submitted an online employment application for a Civil Service position at the University, that information has been transferred to the new system. 

Note for current University employees who previously submitted an application through the old system (prior to July 28, 2008), and have not yet accessed the new system: You will no longer login using bluestem (netID). You should have instead received an email with your new user name and password. If you did not receive this information, you will need to contact the appropriate campus Human Resources office for your userID and password - Urbana (217) 333-2137.

To complete and submit an online application and to submit an online exam request form

Your request to create a civil service application will be processed within three (3) business days (Monday - Friday). Your logon ID will be e-mailed to you. When you receive your logon information, you can complete your online employment application.

To view your Civil Service exam request status and register activity, please go to jobs.illinois.edu, log in with your user name and password, and click on "View CS Register Activity".
